Fabric-Wrap Systems

Acoustic Fabric

Acoustically transparent decorative fabric for wrapping gripper walls, panels, and ceiling baffles.

Overview

Acoustic fabric is the visible skin of a gripper-fabric wall system. It has to look premium, feel taut, and — most importantly — let sound pass through without reflecting it. Acoustimart supplies stretch-knit polyester and open-weave fabrics from a wide colour and texture range, all vetted for acoustic transparency and flame retardance.

Key features

  • Acoustically transparent — sound passes through to infill
  • Stretch-knit polyester for tension-tucked gripper walls
  • Flame-retardant treatment (Class B / A on request)

Benefits

Why customers choose Acoustic Fabric.

Manufacturer-direct pricing, project-scale timelines, and real acoustic-engineering support behind every order.

  • Fully field-serviceable panels — access wiring or infill any time
  • Snap-lock uPVC extrusion, no visible fasteners
  • Compatible with any acoustic infill: PU foam, PET, poly wadding, wood wool
  • Custom-printed fabric can double as design / branding element
  • Premium engineered finish — the industry standard for auditoriums and studios

Installation guide

  1. Cut grippers to length using the Acoustimart multi-angle track cutter
  2. Fix grippers to the substrate on all four sides of the panel zone
  3. Insert acoustic infill (foam / PET / poly wadding) inside the frame
  4. Stretch fabric across the frame and tuck edges into the gripper channel using the Acoustimart fabric-tucking tools
  5. Trim excess fabric flush with the trim blade for a seamless finish

Care & maintenance

  • Vacuum fabric with a soft brush attachment monthly
  • Spot-clean fabric with a dry cloth — most stains lift with a foam upholstery cleaner
  • Fabric can be un-tucked, replaced, and re-tucked without touching the acoustic infill
